A Prayer Guide for Everyone

This is a terrific book that is filled with very practical suggestions on making personal prayer a part of one's daily routine. The author speaks from her own experience and gives the reader helpful and encouraging counsel on recognizing the form of prayer that best fits one's temperament. A great read.

Everyday Divine: A Catholic Guide to Active Spirituality was a really easy to read book. It offered a lot of different techniques for weaving prayer into your daily life. Many of these techniques would take little to no effort. I plan to implement several, including a "Mary Garden" as my husband and I love to garden, as well as praying while working out. I would recommend this book to others, especially those who think their lives are too full to incorporate prayer.
